Feb 9th, 2018Beautifully golden in colour, Nose almost reminiscent of a creamy New Zealand sauv blanc but also of a Sauternes, with white grapefruit and tropical bananas coming to the forefront, accented by Bavarian cream interestingly enough. Screaming acidity that rounds out in the mouth, touch of lemon zest, juicy green apple, and a touch of vanilla extract. Quite nice.

2 people found it helpfulMar 22nd, 2015You were green apple and lime juice, with light white flowers and some white pepper. There were wet rocks and chalk in you, and you had high acidity, medium alcohol and a medium plus finish. You were Domaine L Chatelain 2012 Chabljs, and you were fairly decent.

Elegant nose, fresh and lively palate of citrus (almost leaning toward lime-zest) green apple, and a hint of minerals. I wish I could find a sub-$30 Chablis with true kimmeridgian character. Paired like a boss with Turkish burgers and Mediterranean salad. Beauty.

Aug 8th, 2016Green apples everywhere. Like, everywhere. Springtime flowers and definitive chalkiness. Substantial acidity on the finish.
