Pale lemon color with aromas of stone fruits and citrus notes. On the palate flavors of apple, pear and citrus, some vanilla, lively acidity, medium length finish ending creamy with mineral character. Drink now!

One fellow taster said, “There’s nothing really wrong with it. There’s nothing really good about it.”

Beautifully golden in colour, Nose almost reminiscent of a creamy New Zealand sauv blanc but also of a Sauternes, with white grapefruit and tropical bananas coming to the forefront, accented by Bavarian cream interestingly enough. Screaming acidity that rounds out in the mouth, touch of lemon zest, juicy green apple, and a touch of vanilla extract. Quite nice.

Tart green apple, fresh lemon, all of the taste that come with roaring acidity! White lily with a touch of white pepper. A taste of flinty rock and the faintest kiss of oak. - 2012 Vintage

You were green apple and lime juice, with light white flowers and some white pepper. There were wet rocks and chalk in you, and you had high acidity, medium alcohol and a medium plus finish. You were Domaine L Chatelain 2012 Chabljs, and you were fairly decent.

New vintage of Chatelain and still a great value in the world of Chablis. Elegant nose, fresh and lively palate of citrus (almost leaning toward lime-zest) green apple, and a hint of minerals. I wish I could find a sub-$30 Chablis with true kimmeridgian character. Paired like a boss with Turkish burgers and Mediterranean salad. Beauty.

Green apples everywhere. Like, everywhere. Springtime flowers and definitive chalkiness. Substantial acidity on the finish.

$35 for a bottle at total wine. Very nice Chablis, crisp with a slight fruity aftertaste. No minerals.
