First, best cork design ever. And agreed with the joy of the little dude on it. Some nice aging notes—caramel, woodsy honey, almost a sherry tinge—with ripe stone fruit, lemon. Fruit’s fading with age, but still lovely... Christmas brunch!

Jan 15th, 2017Sylvaner, not the Riesling. 2008 vintage. Solid somewhat oxidative style. Perfectly pleasant with salmon Wellington with a fairly solid shallot butter sauce.
