Nice premier cru beaune. First time visiting this vineyard and it didn't disappoint.. reminiscent of the beaune-coucherias from Michel gay. Cranberry, red candy, and flowers on the nose.. velvety smooth cherry cola on the palate, pretty rich but with lively balancing acidity that begs for food. On day two, a note of pipe tobacco emerges.. nice pairing for soprasetto.
