Evoked Tuscany more than Burgundy but still enjoyable.

Pallet is fruity with a little spicy wood thing. Surprising considering the mild nose

Interesting but there are better wines in this price range

Seems to me that I only rate wines that I like. Here's another beauty, big (14%), rich and generous, lovely chardonnay mouthful, would bet there's some oak (not a lot), quite unfrench in character, though they would probably hate to hear that.
