Quince, pear, gold apple with lanolin, roasted hazelnut and brisk mineral aromas.
Palate is well balanced but slight reticent with baked pear, tangerine and almond flavors. There is viscous mouthfeel with subtle mineral component to keep it bright.
Mid length finish with yellow orchard fruit.
Based on this bottle it is just out of a closed phase with superb balance. I think it needs 3 or so more years in the cellar and should improve for at least 10 years.
