Jun 19th, 2026Nose starts off woody but with exquisite and deep, wafting minerality. The palate has wood as well and unreal density and concentration. Just explosive. So pure and the wood will integrate as the raw materials are just incredible. So clean but obviously very young but super impressive. Will be back. Ok, it took around 24+ hours but wow is this sick. Truly. It’s so elegant, rich and dense and has insane complexity. It’s got some wood to loose but that will be fine in 5-9 years. But if drunk today needs 24+ hours open. On day 3 this is where this really delivers. Huge wet earth nose, wintergreen, full oak integration. 9.8. nose. Stunning. Palate is so good. Dense, elegant, explosive, long and concentrated. Tart even. Awesome. Unreal minerality.

Dec 26th, 2025New bottling from Girard and wow is this a stunner. Nose is so nimble yet super expressive. Spicey oak, saltiness, hint of vanilla extract, lime zest, pink grapefruit, ginger and spice. Only scratching the surface here. Palate is ungodly elegant and complex already with stellar concentration and unreal amounts of finesse. Wow is this a stunning wine and why Whjte. Burgundy is best Chardonnay in the world. The palate is just so classy and delicate. So much density yet offset by the grace of this magnificent wine. The nose now is opening with such complex spice. Wow. Super pure and so deep but the nimbleness is something else. Unreal squeegee of concentration and the finish goes on for a mile. 9.7 out of the bottle. Let’s see there the goes. The nose now has a gumdrop thing going on it. So mineral. Wood shavings, cinnamon and just stunning aromas. So elegant and the finish is getting more sapid and intense. Nose is so airy now and ethereal. More focused. Elegant and opulent and so graceful. Long finish of mineral and sweet wood. Gorgeous spice.
