Aloxe-Corton Pinot Noir

Red cherry, sour cherry, bright nose. Earthy, damp. Mineral as well. Really open nose. Palate has lovely lithe elegance and terrific crunchy red fruits, plenty of ample volume and crunchy cherries on the finish. Really nice showing. There is a sense of terrific freshness and energy.

What an enjoyable wine! Scintillating red fruit, aromas and on the palate, with earth and minerality combining for a delightful long finish.

Big stanky cherry nose. So much spice. Deep and puppy like fruit, so juicy, finesse driven with some nice power and concentration. Good tannins. What a ripe wine. So elegant. Lovely. What freshness. This rocks. Big boy but so mellow as well. Really fine. Best one since 12. Fruit soaked and stained finish. Very very pure. Sappy.

Deep, vibrant nose of dark berry fruit and stony minerals. Palate has that terrific 2012 volume and the sweet fruit that distinguishes Aloxe-Corton. Terrific purity and pleasure already. Dynamic and fresh. Really great wine and vintage. Drink em if you got them.

Dark and dusty with lovely fruits. Spice. Very nice. Deep and tannic. Masculine. Deep and structured. Beautiful and classically big wine. Long fanning finish.

Love Aloxe. So undervalued and Girard makes a great one. Such pure fruit on the nose with good earth tones. Layered. In the mouth it is juicy and bright with tiny berry fruit intensity. Nice explosiveness. Needs a bit of air but a great drink.

Great wine. Smelly fragrant with lots of sweet berries. Tastes great as well. Didn’t take too much time to open up after opening. Lots of sweet berry tastes and after tastes.

Bright fruit. Some spice. Having with Haggis!
