Undersold yesterday. This has really come into its own.

After this weekend, it's a bit tough to get back to "regular" wines. Nevertheless, this is yummy, but see previous notes.

Day 3: this has picked up significant weight and complexity. Wow.

Popped yesterday. In the fridge overnight. Maybe the best incarnation of this wine I've had. On the nose: this leans in the direction (both in terms of expansiveness and richness) of Corton Charlemagne; there is clear oak influence, but it is very stylishly done; loads of sweet lemon, lime and citrus blossom. On the palate: lovely density: meyer lemon, tangerine, then a mineral streak cuts the sweetness and dials-in the intensity; wet stone and a very long finish for a wine at this level. Wow.
