All fruit for this cuvée comes from Vinsobres (Guigal’s new source for CDR blends). Has the lift, acids and balance that ‘15 and ‘16 lacked a bit. Big dollop of pure, clean, juicy Syrah makes this a cut above. No simple little Grenache here. Fraises, ripe plums, grated spice.

This wine aged so well. It's very elegant and velvet. Drink now, not suitable to ageing. The wine is fully developed and showing a lot of tertiary earth / forest floor character.
Grapes: 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre.
Unoaked.

Pretty decent fruit for $12, moorebrothers. Plummy and cocoa. Thought I’d just be using it for Beef Bourguignon but ended up drinking some!
