Les Champs Canet Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay

At a bumpy and awkward place right now.

Understated yet immensely assertive. Just astonishing. I'm left scratching my head.

Quite young but showing lovely raw materials. Rich fruit with an undercurrent of minerals.

A beauty! Very high pitched, with racy acidity, lemon curd, balanced mineral notes. Very pure expression of Puligny. Such a treat.

2013 vintage. Champs Canet. Quite sweet on nose. And round on palate. Good acidity. Some concentration. Decent.
