L'Altesse Rousette de Savoie Altesse

A big step up from the 2011. This has plump/crisp orchard fruits in spades. Seemingly sweet on the palate, but likely technically dry this wine plays so well with food.

Really interesting. Salinity, pears, stone fruits, pine nuts. Fresh with just enough richness.

All white orchard fruit, almost conjuring chenin, but lacking that bitter/mineral note I expect. Juicy and fun. Relatively simple.

feels sweet but this is dry. orchard fruits galore! ripe yellow apple, yellow pear. medium acidity, finishes with a slight vanilla note. kinda reminds me of chenin without the little funk and minerality. great food wine!

Nice value white

Very nice mineral nose. Solo, it tastes a little too acidic and otherwise bland, but I imagine it to be good with seafood.

Minerals and mountain fruit well balanced light on acidity and it pairs with turkey chili go figure

Classic Savoie mineral adventure. Delicious and crisp. 2012

Notes of lime zest and grass. Subtle honeyed scent but more so on the palate. Medium finish, structured with a very pleasant acidity. Great - recommended!
