Vieilles Vignes Gevrey-Chambertin Pinot Noir

Wood, light, clear, red fruits, raspberry. Great wine 🍷👌❤️

I find the 16 vintage to be well extracted with lots of wood treatment. I struggle to find a sense of place.

Juicy raspberry, red cherry, sweet spices, smoke, licorice. Elevated acid and young tannins. Medium (minus) alcohol. Manual/green harvesting, 30% new French oak. 3-6 days’ prefermentation soak.

Can't get enough of this elegant wine!

2006 is delicious. Just too the 10 1er cru off to make room for this. We'll revisit that in 5 more years.
