Nice texture and acidity but needs some time to integrate.

2002 Vintage. This wine was ever so slightly off, but you could see the beauty beneath it. A bit of funk and pinesol (not necessarily a bad thing), with more passionfruit and orchard, instead of apricot. Some slightly reserved spice and a touch drier than I was expecting. All in all a very beautiful, but demure wine.

Looks like Armagnac in the glass. Rich deep flavor. Has lost it’s light elegan t chenin taste but rich and sweet over ripe peaches and apricots.

Nineteen years later. Mature, ripe roses and honey, good acidity and a touch of varnish. Delicious!
