Still an amazing wine and plenty of life left. This 2003 vintage (drank on Feb 2, 2019) needed 30 min or so to open up. Just a party in your mouth and a great pairing with duck! Nice smooth tannins and a lovely long finish that was almost “sweet”. One of my all time favs!!!

Blind I would have called it mid to late 2000s. What youth with dark red fruit very much present and solid tannins. Right at its peak!
