Light gold. Sharp nose. Notes of citrus, clay, baked lemon merengue pie and stones. Big and rich in the mouth. Powerful. This was very angular and hard to enjoy, even after hours of air. Needs to soften a bit more in the bottle.

Great company, perfect atmosphere, outstanding weather and a spectacular Corton-Charlemagne to kick off the night. Bright in the glass, firm acidity, poached pear, matchstick, toast. So good.

Oct 23rd, 2016Light gold color. Heavy in the glass. Zesty spicy nose with honey, rich pit fruit and river stone. A hint of fresh ginger. With 45 min of air, the wine opened up and had a big impact in the mouth. Rich and powerful. Long finish. Nice showing tonight.
