Clos Vougeot Grand Cru Pinot Noir

Incredible showing of such a young Clos Vougeot. Beautifully perfumed and floral and already terrific complexity. Black cherries, Asian spices, red flowers, minerals with a dense and rich texture and firm tannins to round out a long finish.

Fruit forward and best enjoyed with food. Come across very you and would not have guessed this already had 10yrs on it.

Minerality, earth. Take your time with this one. The second glass shows much less tannin. #homesweethome

Drank with lamb shank on January 27, 2016. Dry, but smooth, a hint of minerality and earthiness.
