Clos de la Mouchère Monopole Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay

Plush fruit. Peaches, lemon, steeliness. Rich and pretty. Lacks some of the thrust of other vintages but sexy and open.

A great Monopole and excellent for the vintage. Mineral and saline to complement its ripeness.

Definitely needed few more years, drinking nicely, taste a lot of mineral.

Beautiful, damp wool in the nicest way, lemon brioche, sense of the damp soil, minerality. Balanced richness.

Lemon,. salinity and that touch of wet wool that I love. Apple, a hint of spearmint, green tea. Great acidity. So well held.
