Nov 23rd, 2023This went pretty well with the roast chicken. I forgot to record it so dont have any noted on it. Thanks to my brother for giving it to me. I think would have lasted a few more years in the cellar

Jan 30th, 2021What an amazing wine! Proof of the true values in Rhone for how complex this wine gets. Initial nose is tight with smells of farmyard and black olives. Letting it open up reveals a true bouquet of Spices, Lavender, Sage, Clove, Oregano, Leather/Hide, Dried Strawberry, Licorice, and more I wrote down and can't remember. It's chewy, but the Tannins are balanced, it's acidity said "Sure you COULD put me on the shelf, but I am actually drinkable today!" Let's just say that I will be getting more.
