GL tasting 11/7/17. Third final flight comp of '14 ave '11. The '14 nose is pure and lots of red and dark fruits. Says almost unexpected. Red cherries base notes. Minerality that's blasted rock so not sharp. $105.'11 nose that's got that feral oxidative notes with complexity. Already going into secondary layers of age. Sharpness in finish. Not a great vintage as '14 but a good vintage still for this domain. 9.3

Excellent. Fragrant. Round, earthy, cedar and light tobacco, red fruits. Balanced with a nice mouthfeel and integrated tannins.
