Palate is full and I mean FULL of fruit, but then it’s backed up by major granite minerality and a lovely savory beefiness. This is really classy and refined. Amazing sweetness that turns so quickly to mineral and then finishes again with a squeeze of blackberry. Wow. What structure, energy and just stunning purity. Insane finesse. Like a Hermitage. A rock star of a Crozes.

Mar 29th, 2019Prettiest nose of all time. Cherry pomegranate with a bit of dried fruit. Beef jerky and wood smoke. You have to love the wine adventure too. Somm thought our choice off the list (the 2019 vintage) was a good one, so he offered us the 2015 at the same price. Excellent wine!!
