Côtes du Rhône, Southern Rhône, Rhône, France
Light red in color with a pink rim.
On the nose, blueberries, plums, strawberries, earth, oak, metals, minerals and light black pepper.
Light-bodied with high acidity.
Dry on the palate with blueberries, cherries, strawberries, wood, earth, dirt and white pepper.
Short finish with soft tannins and tart cherries.
A blend of 80% Granache and 20% Syrah. Very simple Côtes du Rhône, but also inexpensive. Nice food wine. Not my taste, though.
13% alcohol by volume.

Fantastic vintage 2018. Very smooth and light, pleasant on the tongue. Excellent for the price. Went well with chicken. Also with manchego and champignon cheese

Incredibly quaffable southern rhone blend of 80 Grenache, and 20 Syrah. Elegant, easy drinking, equal balance of tiny fruit and tiny earth. Well worth it. Would buy again.
