Aug 5th, 2016Gorgeous wine. So bright and expressive. Deep red and black fruits, soft tannins and lovely length. One of the best CDR's I've tried. Delicious

Jan 3rd, 2016Kermit Lynch picked it, that basically means I loved it. Beautiful tart blueberries with lavender, sage, dried autumn leaves, and stoniness. Amazing!

Jul 18th, 2015Deep purple color. Complex nose of blueberry, violets, black olives, and raw meat. Fleshy dark fruit on the palate with balanced tannins and acidity. Peppery finish of good length. Made from biodynamically farmed Syrah grown at the northernmost point of the Southern Rhône and fermented with natural yeasts and minimal intervention. This is a very nice value in Old World Syrah.

Dec 9th, 2016Reductive; fruit coming through after a good shake since the gas in suspension masked the fruit. A fussy natural wine that eventually offered intense violet and juicy berry tonalities. Not the best bottle of Sierra du sud I've had but still a very enjoyable wine.
