Good fun this one was!!

So fresh, deep and spicy, terrific vintage

Dark dark fruit, garrigue, balanced acidity and strong tannins. Great but very austere wine right now.

Inspiring story.... best part about a wine (other than sharing it with friends and family), is learning the origin, history of the winery, process, and passion of the cellar master/wine maker.

This was a wonderful and delicious blend of grenache and syrah from Rhone. Full bodied with raspberry, strawberry, blueberry, spice, vanilla, and limestone/gravel/stone. A fruit forward and approachable wine filled with tons of stewed/baked red fruit with ever so slight tannins from the French oak.

So dark. But such great acidity and lightness. Violet, blackberry, Rosemary, basil, mint. Soft and lively acidity. Dances in the mouth. Eating with leftover Greek style chicken. Just omg.
