Still a crowd pleaser and glasses get emptied fast. Less thinking and more drinking.

So damn good. My first white from this producer. Probably needs a bit more of a chill. Nice acidity, minerals and lemon head candy lingers for a while.

Light straw colour with green reflexes . Quite ripe yellow fruits , white flowers. On the palate quite ripe and rounded yellow plum , lemon peel , slight toasty mineral note on the finish . Ok length and balance , ok acidity even though quite fat, with slight touch of alcoholic warmth . This is quite an enjoyable Bourgogne Blanc , well made, generous in style. Drink now and over the next 3-5 years . All things considered I would buy this over the slightly top heavy Gouffier Mercurey 1er Cru tasted a few weeks ago .
