I think this is 2016 but at Berlioz he isn’t a fan of putting that pesky vintage on the bottle. But we still love him. Nose is tropical and wonderful. Very ebullient. A lovely dollop of mountain air and some stunning alpine flowers. Palate is ripe and rich with perfect balance and freshness coming from the intense minerality and the lovely bitter fruits on the finish. So clean and energetic for being what I would call low acid out of the gates. Good sap and lovely precision and so so well made. Berlioz is a genius .

Oct 22nd, 2022Stunning nose of huge fruit and infinite fruit complexity. Some alpine minerals as well and a honeyed apricot peach nuanced aroma. Beautiful nose. Confectionary and earthy as well. Just stunning. Terrific power and concentration and such stunning purity. So clean, so mineral and so balanced. Amazing palate that is ultra refined and so so long. Wonderful.

100% Roussanne.
Nose has an incredible amount of beeswax, over-ripe guava and apricot skin.
Palate is like a guava/peach rolled in clay and then you take a big chomp and it's more juicy than expected from a hybrid guava/peach. Great Savoie experience.
