Totally digging this tonight. Been in the mood for classic Côte Rôtie and it delivered. Dark and savory, elegantly rustic, medium bodied, fresh and high toned. Wood smoke, ash, peppercorns, smoked meat, licorice, bay/eucalyptus, crushed violet, crushed rocks. Fruit is wild, brambly, mixed red fruits.
