Oct 27th, 2015Opened up a lot. Spiced cherry, granite, rhubarb, balsam, sour orange. Nice acidity, delicate tannin, very elegant Bourgogne rouge.

Oct 26th, 2015Day 2 revisit: Showing tons of beautiful red fruit, blood orange, potting soil. Elegant but with good cut. Hugely enjoyable, but still, a sadly short finish holds it back from being great. Needed a fair amount of time to really show well.

Having a producer's Bourgogne Rouge first is a really insightful and economical way of getting to know whether you like the winemaker's style.

Mar 28th, 2015The nose is light with heavy hints of minerality and floral. Have had the bottle decanting for 2+ hours and the nose is showing hints of fruits. The pallet is balanced but very subtle. Light Tastes of cranberry and a dash of vanilla on the finish.
