First Mallard of season. Barthod finishes tight and acidic. Not sure how much this will round out, but will not try another for quite some time.

Nov 7th, 2016Delicious and complex for a villages Chambolle-Musigny. Dark red, a bit cloudy from sediment. Earth and mushroom on the nose. Flavors of dark cherry, a touch of tobacco and earth.

May 26th, 2018Clean, nice deep red color. Light fragrant nose with some earth and a bit of red berry. Not too intense but good for a village wine. The palate is stronger than the nose, with decent mushroom and earth. Great producer with a nice village wine in an good but not great year. Soft wine with some fruit and charm. Enjoyed a couple of glasses with a steak, sautéed artichoke hearts and mushrooms, and some couscous.
