Clos Vougeot Grand Cru Pinot Noir

Wow! What a nose that kept building in the glass showing red cherry, strawberry, forest floor, sweet & savory spices, earth, leather & floral notes. Very impressive showing for this 37yr old Roumier.

I have always enjoyed the 83 vintage & this was a good one showing ripe cherry, strawberry, earth, mineral, baking spices, forest floor, mint & rose petal. Fully mature with good length that should continue to drink well.

This was showing well with sweet cherry, strawberry, baking spices & orange peel. Rich & deep on the palate with good length.

This started out ripe, fleshy & seemed to be on the downside but came alive & really soared with 30 min of air gaining weight & depth showing red cherry, strawberry, orange peel, earth & baking spices.

Pair of 83’s tonight! Perfumed nose of dark cherry, strawberry, orange peel, iron, earth, mineral, baking spice & violets. This gained weight & richness with time in the glass.

My last one and it didn't disappoint perfect in every way
