dark in color, light on its feet. lots of Asian spice. incredible nose, incredible elegance. some secondary characteristics beginning to emerge. can’t see this getting any better.

Almost jarring the contrast, coming to this after the Rouget - so much structure and scaffolding in this one, fortunately without being foursquare. Nice contrast of blue and black berry fruit in here. With its muscle, it feels more Morey than Chambolle - this would be at home next to a Clos de la Roche, for example.
