Happy to have my buddy’s wines on the list again

An "interesting" wine. Cool climate wine. Strong accents of green pepper that soften as it airs. This is a food-pairing wine.

Herbaceous, red currants/cranberry, earth, vanilla, spice, clay

Garnet red. Truly an interesting nose. An onslaught of bell peppers and jalapeños, some light asparagus too. Day one on the palate was all vegetal with some light red fruits. Very interesting and we love interesting. Day two added in some savory and mineral notes like rocks. Also had a hint of darker fruits and some powdery element, similar to talc powder or even raw cocoa. Moderate tannins (5.5/10) and medium body. Dry moderate finish at best. Drink till 2022.

Unbalanced and vegetal. Not sure if I had too early or too late but I don’t see myself having again. 🤢

Beautiful ruby red color with very nice aromas of ripe black fruits, licorice. and tobacco on the nose. Full-bodied followed by ripe blackberry, plum, and hint of coffee & spices. Very good balanced, bright acidity, smooth & ripe tannins with fruity, spicey, and long aftertaste at the end. Very nice & delicious.

Delicious and spicy.
