Les Nosroyes Puligny-Montrachet Chardonnay

Textbook white Burg. Linear with pinpoint focus. So much depth on the mid palate. Meyer lemons and roasted pineapples present on the mid palate. Suave sweetness and acidity bring home an outstanding presentation.

For the money, this white is the best I’ve had in 2023. Lanolin and mineral-driven with calcium and slate on the nose. Palate displays Meyer lemons and a waxy texture. A dry presentation with soft acidity, finishes somewhat sweet, while very appealing. The 411 here is get some of this shit 🥳 Happy thanksgiving, peeps.

Good gosh… this is stunning! Ethereal and laser focused. Brioche and almonds, peaches and dirt on the nose. Consistent representation on the palate. Sublime texture and weight. This is a nosebleed by the glass at Nougatine 😕
$85 on the market. For the loot, it’s a buy for sure.

Blind tasted... I said Chassangne or Saint Aubin, so I was pretty close. Really nice but very tight and closed. Reductive and chiseled but needs a few years in the bottle to reveal midnpalate.

A little soft on the first night, but by the second night shows almost painful intensity and greater precision and cut. Perhaps lacking the refinement and complexity of top flight Puligny, but pretty damne good for a lieu dits.
