Bone dry, rich palate, perfect balance. A hint too young (2010 vintage), will need 4/5 more years... in my top 5 dry Riesling from Alsace

Panos Kakaviatos

While not quite as rich and impressive as the 2010, the 2008 is dry and citrus driven and - after about 6 years in bottle - showing off tertiary gunflint flavors. Medium plus body, high acidity, long vivacious finish: yet another great showing from this northern Alsace producer in grand cru terroir.

Excellent key lime pie flavors, pronounced lemon peel and grapefruit with a rich palate that is thoroughly dry and thirst quenching. Light spice and vague petrol notes. Intriguing. Long finish. 2010 vintage is superb!
