Boyz Raveneau tasting. Med to light gold color. More honey on the nose than the 95 Blanchots next to it. Really expands in the mouth. Guessed the Clos given the noticeable differences it had with the Blanchots and Valmurs served today.

Golden. Ripe nose with hints of oak, hazel and walnut, chalk dust, persimmon, cedar, smoky flinty notes indicative of Chablis. Beautifully chiseled, delineated structure. Bright acidity with a long finish of baked apple and smoky flint. Marvelous! 97p
