86 clos from Raveneau. Legendary wine, drinking at the top of its game. Had been in same cellar since release, so was very vibrant and snugly integrated. Honey and flowers meet stones and brine. Won't get better than it is right now.

The first aged bottle of Raveneau from my cellar that has ever showed a clearly oxidized light orange color, still alive, with solid acidity, we’ll see if it improves with aging (as these older Raveneau seem to consistently do), but right now this is just good/very good.

Jan 8th, 2022For me, clearly wine of the night, SO youthful, great acidity, initially closed, but once it opened, wow, just wow, I’d guess, honestly, this wine easily might last another 15+ years, just great Grand Cru Chablis!!

Dec 6th, 2020Initially this shows some sulphur notes, swirling causes it to blow off, so, so rich and complex flavors, intense stony and mineral notes show into the very long finish, just a fantastic Les Clos Chablis!!
