If this was the first #Vacqueyras you had, you'd be spoiled. This #wine from this region would be hard to follow up for the price.
Meaty and stewed aromas. Lots of robust volume to the nose. Think Luxardo Cherries, then deeper.
Great crimson color. Clear and clean. The palate is a little big, has smooth texture and robust. Great acid and slightly tart to the cherry side. Had this wine on its own tonight. Could picture it with spicey foods and Asian food.

A new producer to us. A really beautiful Vacqueyras, somewhat more elegant than many. A graceful wine for sure. At Bar à Vin 156 in village of Caromb, a very friendly place.
