The 2020 Corton Bressandes Grand Cru definitely has one of the more opulent bouquets in the flight, with lush black fruit laced with blood oranges and floral scents. Perhaps it is just missing a little delineation compared to the best in this flight, though that seems to manifest after ten minutes in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and fresh, well-integrated oak. It's very harmonious, with a deft dash of black pepper on the finish. The 2020 is modern in style, maybe slightly roasted, but it just about works. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, October 2024)

Clear medium ruby with no gas or sediment. The nose is of medium intensity with notes of red cherries and raspberries above tobacco leaf. Definitely developing. Palate is fruit forward with red fruit dominating and a touch of stalkyness. Med + acidity, Med tannin, Med body, Med + finish, Med intensity on the palate. Good quality, drink now with potential for aging another 2-3 years.

Décidément pas convaincu par ce terroir. Géranium au nez et en bouche.

Very tasty Pinot - flavors are more consistent with Bordeauxs but still maintains lightness of a Pinot
