Lovely - and that's not a word one associates with the Syrah. Merci Antonin!

Such a great expression of the Northern Rhone. Breath of dog, saline dirt and other yummy nastiness.

I smelled this wine and went "whooaaa!" Talk about taking a trip to the butcher. Meaty and game on the nose tight out of bottle, turns to funky tomato and mint while keeping the game. Acidity hits you hard first sip, really holds the lighter body of this Syrah. Bright fruit, strawberry and hints of blueberry. The best is that you get a light body Syrah that finishes with peppercorn spice! And I mean big spice! Boom, bam, kapow! This is everything I want in a fantastic food wine.
