Really in the zone, soft and subtle, everything in place

Half bottle. Looked interesting. It’s a bit dusty but catches you nicely. Mature fruit. Some cherry and maybe raspberry. Menthol. Lingers. Lighter than CA pinot noir - but definitely meaty.

Maybe it wasn't ready but I was disappointed in this (not inexpensive) premier cru. Good red fruit, but not much body or finish. Was expecting it to be more special than it was.
