2022/5/8-9 with koshiabura tempura, pork-wrapped Yanaka ginger, etc. High toned fruit, bramble and a touch of oak. Not especially complex or deep clean and better on day 1 (with day 2 revealing a bit more green), but enjoyable and a neat value as a villages at this price.

Let it breathe around 45 min. The nose needed some coaxing, but opened to show some beautiful floral & black cherry aromatics. Darker berry fruit with some exotic spice notes & firm tannins still intact. Drinking beautifully right now.
