Domaine Eugène Carrel
Roussette de Savoie Altesse
Ripe apples, grapefruit, lemongrass. Nice richness to palate, especially mid-palate, great acid, good length. Could be a good crossover wine for Sauv Blanc and Chard drinkers.

Oct 30th, 2017This vintage is not quite as full and rich has previous years, but instead it's a bit higher acid and more Jacquere-like. Still a great wine.

Aug 4th, 2017The 2011 is getting a bit tired at this point (needed more acid to keep going), but still a great wine. Altesse doesn't disappoint -fuller and rounder than its Savoie cousin Jacquere, but retaining that lively alpine purity.
