Not my style at all. Not a typical Sancerre in taste or color.

A fascinating wine at Next. Nose reminds of grand Cru white burg and hints of Chenin, but when you drink you can tell you are dealing with Sauvignon at least a little bit. This guy uses no chemicals and no electricity!

Not compelling in the beginning. But with plenty of air it opened nicely. Cloudberries, cloves, kumquat marmalade and silex on the nose. Surprisingly supple on the palate. Incredibly fine-grained, and (to me) cloud-like tannins across the front of the tongue, and very savory. This was supreme with chicken. If you are looking for a typical, varietal Sauvignon, look elsewhere.
