2006. Translucent garnet bordering on copper. Smells like mature Nebbiolo and maybe a little port-like, dried fruits and dried flowers. Continues on the palate with some anise and tobacco. Fine tannins but a touch of heat--maybe from lack of temp control? Remarkable wine if not perfect, especially at the price.
