Scarlet and mahogany in the glass, much darker than previous gamays I've encountered. A full bouquet of earthy strawberries, plum and violet on the nose. Fruit forward and a nice acidity, red cherries fade into a smooth black currant finish.

Originally paired this with chicken pad thai and it was amazing. A glass on its own is still very drinkable but food really makes this shine.
