Domaine Dujac
Clos de la Roche Grand Cru Pinot Noir
I brought this, my last one of these. Opened and decanted 5 hours before serving. Bright tawny and almost opaque. Awesome nose. Seems young. Notes of bing cherry, asian spice, sandalwood, some dark earth and some rhubarb. Rich and silky in the mouth. Velvet glove delivery. Awesome wine. My red WOTN.

Feb 13th, 2022Light tawny. Aromatic nose that over the night becomes the wine’s best feature. Notes of ripe cherry, sandalwood, dusty earth and Asian spice. Nice fruit presence in the mouth. Decent but soft finish. While the wine overall comes across as getting a little tired, the smells from the glass are as good as it gets - even 5 hours after opening.

Sep 2nd, 2020Reddish purple with some amber and translucent. Exotic nose of cherry, Asian spice sandalwood. Bright fruit and structure in the mouth with cola raspberry and rhubarb, but the awesome nose is this wine's best feature.
