My son, who works in New York bought this at Sotheby’s for me and brought it home in December 2013 for Christmas of that year.

Closed on first night but with 24 hours of being open was singing. Floral, elegant and textural with carefully handled oak. Tightly structured but that's how I like it! Should age beautifully.

2009. Pale ruby, ruby rim. Approachable fruit on the nose: mint, sweet cherries, violet. Crisp acidity, silky texture, medium alcohol, fruity and fresh. Very balanced oak. Long finish of cherries and oak.
