Not as vibrant or lively as most #Cahor, but the 2011 vintage and price along with opening late 16' have more to do with that.
Still has blue fruit and blue/purple flower aromas. Chalky. Smooth texture, very subtle, almost non existent tannin. Simple flavors. Cahor expected, but simple.

Don’t think it is cow poop, but I have tasted better. Drank 2012 vintage in 2020. After 8 years the tannins has laid down nicely, but it still had a bit of a bite.

OMG Brett! This wine is a case study in Brettanamyces. Cow poop. Mouse urine. Everything for the Brett lovers out there. Probably happened in the bottle but points to horrible sanitation in this winery. 😝
