May 13th, 20162013, Domaine Rin du Bois, Touraine Sauvignon Blanc. Yep, another bottle. This is an excellent Loire Valley SB for around $10. Great acidity, grapefruit and lots of minerality on the finish. Just a really good value in a varietally correct bottling.

Dec 10th, 20152013, Domaine Du Rin Du Bois, Touraine Sauvignon Blanc. Tours is about 3 hours west of Sancerre. The vineyards are much flatter than in Sancerre. Great acidity, some citrus but more lemon rind than grapefruit. A little tart green apple that I normally notice in a Sancerre or Pouilly Fume. This is an excellent every day drinker and a good value. Touraine is a great AOC for value priced wines.

Ripping acidity. Well made and tasty. Would repeat the experience. Served with roast chicken.

Good value for 11 bucks. Doesn't knock my socks off, but is pretty ok with sushi. I wouldnt pick this one for the deck on a hot summer day...

Wow. Nice. My first obviously melon-y wine. Sweet nose. Sweet, with some fresh car tires. Love it.
Light, but creamy on the palate. A really nice minerality.
Enjoyed the crap out it.
Day 2: thought I may have overrated it...wrong. This is some really nice stuff.
