Red fruit and saddle on the nose. Silky mouthfeel with medium tannins. Lighter than expected without a lot of juice, and dry, it's a bit boring for a Rhone.

Cranberry, black liquorice, fennel, menthol, raisin, brick, lilac, mushroom, a touch of oak/tobacco smoke on the back end. Nice roundness, mod acidity, mod-high tannins.
Pretty good compliment alongside some grilled lamb, garlic/green onion mashed potatoes.
