This is the “Breillonde” cuvée. I just love wines from Vire-Clesse when done right, and this one is. Bright, lively green-inflected gold color. Nose has deep but fresh apple and pear fruit, bright limestoney minerality, straw. Very balanced, with a nice roundness and freshness playing off each other. Very good concentration.
